Black Friday is great, but it involves leaving your house — and let’s be real, who has the energy to do that? I love Cyber Monday because I get to shop Christmas decorations sales from the comfort of my couch, which is hard to beat. It’s also great because I’m a procrastinator and never do things on time. Surprisingly enough, we decorated our Christmas tree yesterday. Usually, it’s the week before Christmas before I think about any decor. I think that our excitement about finally owning a home got the best of us (in a good way). Decorating always gets me into the holiday spirit. We put on Christmas music, dimmed the lights and sipped hot cocoa as we hung ornaments. Sometimes it feels silly decorating the house when it’s just two adults, but Vagner and I talked about how we’ll already have Christmas traditions once we have kids! I didn’t shop much this weekend, but I stopped in a few stores to check out their Christmas decor deals. I can’t wait to share my favorites with you.
Amazon: SO many deals on Christmas stuff!
Kohl’s: 60% off Christmas pillows
Macy’s: Thousands of ornaments, festive plates and cards are on clearance
Michaels: 50% off Christmas wreaths
Target: 30% off Christmas Trees + 40% off outdoor projectors
World Market: 15% off $50, 20% off $100, 30% off $200
These are just a few of the sales that actually impressed me. It’s so hard to know whether a store will actually have a good Christmas decorations sale, even if they’re boasting about prices being better than usual. I bought things from Target, Kirkland’s and Macy’s for our house. I’m thinking about stopping by World Market after work today, but we all know that things can get dangerous there pretty quickly.
Did you shop on Black Friday? If so, how’d you do? Let me hear all about your deals since I didn’t do much buying myself. Also, if you’re searching for a ton of Christmas decor, I recommend waiting until the day after Christmas. Dillard’s has a sale that’s unreal on New Year’s Day, and I shop it with my mom every year!
