Life is full of cheer because APS IS HERE! I try not to be too corny, but there’s no other way to express my excitement for the Lilly Pulitzer After-Party sale. Save the date: It’s September 10-12, 2018. With only a few days left until the sale begins, I wanted to round up all of the questions I get most frequently about the sale. If you have any additional questions, leave them in the comments! Also, make sure you to scroll down to enter the giveaway at the bottom — it’s a good one.
Are Things Restocked?
Once items sell out, they’re typically gone for good. I recommend calling signature stores and corporate stores to see if they’re willing to ship the item you’re looking for and shopping on Amazon and Zappos to increase your chances of purchasing hard-to-get items.
What Are The Payment Methods?
You can pay with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, PayPal, AMEX and Lilly Pulitzer gift cards. If you make an account ahead of time, you can load your payment method and check out faster once APS arrives!
How Do I Get My MUST-HAVE Items?
Regardless of what you do, there’s no guarantee that you’ll get what’s on your wishlist — whether it’s unexpected technical difficulties, shipping delays or items selling out quicker than you can purchase them! If you NEED something, your best bet is buying it full-price!
Can I Shop In-Store?
Corporate stores (stores owned by Lilly Pulitzer) often have preview days that allow you to buy your favorites before the sale actually begins. Other times, they’ll open their store early the day of the sale to let people in! If you have a store near you, call them to find out their plan. Shopping in-store means you can try things on and also don’t have to wait for your items.
What If Something Doesn’t Fit?
While items are final-sale, you have the option of reselling them and getting your money back that way! Last summer, I was able to sell everything that didn’t fit me in a matter of hours in Facebook resale groups.
How Long Will It Take To Ship?
It all depends! There have been sales where I received my stuff in a matter of days — other times, it’s taken a month. Remember, it’s just clothing, and the team at Lilly Pulitzer is working as hard as they can to get everything to you as quickly as possible!
How Much Do People Spend during the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale?
As someone who’s currently in the process of buying a house, I won’t have a ton to spare this time around — maybe you’re in the same boat! Some years, I’ve spent nothing — other times, I’ve spent too much to publish here (😅). Here are some prices from past years:
- Popovers — $59-$69
- Leggings — $59-$69
- Wraps: $39+
- Cashmere: $89+
- Cotton dresses: $39-$59
My advice is to stock up on things you wouldn’t be able to purchase full-price! I love buying wraps and cashmere for this reason but usually pass on leggings and popovers — if something is priced at $69, I don’t mind buying it at $98.
What Time Do I Need To Wake Up?
Typically, Lilly’s website goes live around 8 am EST. However, Amazon and Zappos will have items available anywhere between 12 a.m. and 3 a.m. EST.
What Will Be Included In The Sale?
Traditionally, Lilly Pulitzer will pull items from their website the day before the sale if they’ll be included in the Lilly Pulitzer after party sale. Additionally, you can look at spring and early summer releases — prints released in February to June/July are all up for grabs!
