If you ask me where we should eat lunch, I’m going to tell you to find an aesthetically pleasing place with a lot of natural light. (I never claimed to be an easy date, okay?) There’s so much debate about whether visiting a place solely for Instagram is a vapid thing to do, but I’m firmly in the “live and let live” camp. Even if you visit a restaurant or store because it looks great on the ‘gram, you’ll likely find something you love about it — which is one of my favorite things about blogging.
We made it to Monday, friends! I know — I have it all backwards. But we’re supposed to be thankful for every day, not just Fridays, right?! I’m glad I survived the weekend and have a week filled with potential ahead. I may just be over-caffeinated, but I’m believing this week will be GOOD.
I’ve had this post sitting in drafts for a while, and I didn’t really know what to do with it because it is SO random and my posts are usually laid out well. But I want to use my blog to actually ramble about my life, even as things become more structured + this isn’t a place where I word vomit all the time! Who knows if I’ll ever do another Monday Musings post, but I figured I’d give it a try! Let’s get going.
Big news — I finally put together the relationship Q&A I’ve been working on for approximately a month. Even though it took a while for me to sit down with Vagner and write this up, I am so excited to share it with y’all! Vagner is much more comfortable behind the scenes, which is why it’s so special when I convince him to co-write a post with me.
For those who have been following for a while, you know that I spent a lot of time writing about us during the Tumblr days. I don’t really have a reason why I stopped. Once we got married, it just felt like we’d rather be living our lives than writing about it! Now that we aren’t newlyweds anymore, I do feel like I have the mental capacity to write about our love life without feeling like I’m sharing too much. I’m going to be sharing a lot more about the things we’ve struggled with, the victories we’ve shared, and more.
When I first saw Tory Burch Miller sandals in person and glanced at the price, my reaction was, “I’m good, luv — enjoy.” (Bonus points if you get the meme I’m referencing.) I didn’t understand why a pair of sandals cost so much money, so I bought a cheaper pair of shoes and kept it moving. Little did I know that I’d eventually fall in love with Miller Sandals and become obsessed with finding them on sale. If you’re wondering, “When do Tory Burch sandals go on sale?” or “How do I find shoes that look like Miller sandals?”, I GOTCHU. I want to share my tips and tricks for getting a good deal!
