Forgiveness In Marriage | How Almost Breaking Up Helped Us

I was fuming. Furious. How could he hurt me in this way? And how could I ever forgive him? It was my junior year of high school, and I was officially over my on-again, off-again crush and his casual callousness. He played with my feelings and led me on in ways that were unbelievably mean, and I wanted nothing to do with him. I swore him off mentally and vocally, telling my best friend I was finally ready to move on.

The mystery man? That huge jerk? The guy who broke my freakin’ heart? Well, he’s on the couch next to me, so my resolve didn’t stick. Yup, you heard it right — Vagner the doting partner is the same guy who once told me, “I think that you like me, and I’m not interested right now. I’m sorry and I wish I was attracted to you.” The sweet boy who is the epitome of #husbandgoals is also the first guy who ever made me cry.

Tampa Brazilian Steakhouses | Celebrating Vagner’s Birthday At Terra Gaucha Tampa

Olá! Eu gosto de batatas. (Hello! I like potatoes.) There you have it, folks! The only Portuguese I know by heart — even though I’ve known Vagner for nearly a decade. (Any Portuguese you see in this blog post is courtesy of him — bless his heart.) Thankfully, food is a universal language, and Vagner has shown me the wonders of Brazilian food in the years since we’ve started dating. I’m a very picky eater, so I was pleasantly surprised when I first ate with his family and loved everything!

Naturally, we were both thrilled when Terra Gaucha Tampa invited us to try their menu in celebration of Vagner’s birthday! It’s become a bit of a tradition for us to visit a rodizio restaurant every year, and I was thrilled to learn that we had a new option in Tampa. If you’ve never been to a Brazilian steakhouse, you’re in for a treat. Calling it an all-you-can-eat restaurant is a bit of an undersell. It is an experience.

VSCO Lightroom Presets That Are Nearly Identical To The iPhone App

I sing Adobe Lightroom’s praises to anyone who will listen, but the photo editing that will always have my heart is VSCO. For those who aren’t familiar with the app, it’s a social media/iPhone editing platform that was seriously the only way to have a cool Instagram account back in the day. Not only is it easy to use, but the filters are super customizable, which allowed you to create a feed aesthetic before having a feed aesthetic was a thing. I personally couldn’t get enough of the A6 filter, and almost all of my pictures were given a desaturated, slightly cool look thanks to the filter pack. Of course, my Instagram feed is now bright and colorful, but I’m able to understand Lightroom partly because of my experience with VSCO.
