Rifle Paper Co. Rugs Review

Buying a house? Stressful. Decorating a house? It’s the best thing ever. That’s my thought, at least! I’ve loved making our house feel like it belongs to us and had so much fun. Details like picking framed photos for the wall and choosing a paint color have me feeling like I need an HGTV show. Anyway, I wanted to write a post about Rifle Paper Co. rugs to share my honest thoughts. We have two in our house that were gifted by the brand, but as always, my opinions are my own.

Rifle Paper Co. Rugs

Palais Luxembourg Black Printed Rug Rifle Paper Co.

We put the Palais Luxembourg Black Printed Rug in our front room. We originally picked the Menagerie Forest Black Power-Loomed Rug, but it was too small for the space and is now in Vagner’s office. Choosing the right Rifle Paper Co. rug wasn’t an easy task. The variety of rugs is so impressive it verges on overwhelming. There are easily over 100 options that range in size and style. Rifle Paper Co.’s signature floral designs are present, but they also have neat geometric motifs and lattice designs.

Dimensions of Rifle Paper Co. Rugs

One of my favorite things about the rugs from Rifle Paper Co. is how many sizes they offer. Regardless of the size of your space, you’ll be able to find something that works, which is one of my gripes about the other stores I’ve checked. Most rugs come in various sizes, which I’ve listed below. You can buy small rugs, runner rugs, or large area rugs. We have a 5 x 7 and 7 x 9.

  • 2’3″ × 3’9″
  • 2′ × 5′
  • 2’6″ × 7’6″, 2’6″ × 9’6″, 2’6″ × 11’6″
  • 3’6″ × 5’6″
  • 5′ × 7’6″
  • 7’6″ × 9’6″
  • 8’6″ × 11’6″

Price

Are Rifle Paper Co. rugs worth the price tag? They start at $70; the largest sizes are nearly $1,000. My honest answer is yes. When I was younger, we bought cheap rugs because it was all we could afford. But I was then stuck replacing rugs every year or so, which wasn’t sustainable. Investing in a high-quality rug that lasts years pays off in your favor. You can find high-quality options at a lower price, but if you love Rifle Paper Co.’s designs, you should go for it.

Material & Care

One of our rugs is 95% polypropylene + 5% polyester, and the other is 100% polyester. Neither is plush under my feet, which isn’t a massive deal for an office or living room but could be less than ideal in a bedroom. I will share the care instructions below — I typically don’t follow these closely, but I do for these rugs. I want them to last as long as possible.

  • Blot spills with a clean rag or sponge
  • Use a vacuum with no beater bar or set the beater bar to the highest pile setting with the lowest power setting
  • Professional cleaning is recommended
  • Use rug pads on hard floors

Additionally, I use my Bissell Little Green on my rugs — carpet cleaner isn’t listed in the recommendations, but I haven’t had any issues with it. These rugs add the perfect touch to my home, and I can’t say enough good things about them. I know this is always suspect coming from an influencer, but I only share products I genuinely love — and the rave rug reviews online tell me I’m not the only one. SHOP HERE.
