Sweater weather is mostly a myth in Florida, and that’s the way I like it. I’m usually not a fan of cold weather, but I embrace the chilly days when I get a chance to trade in my flip-flops and wear cozy clothing. Fall is my favorite season, and these women’s fall sweaters will be on repeat in my wardrobe over the next few months. Best of all, you can wear them into winter as well! Here are a few stores with women’s fall sweaters I’ll be shopping at again and again before spring.
6 Stores With Women’s Fall Sweaters
American Eagle
(pictured: AE Oversized Waffle Knit Sweater)
If you don’t shop at American Eagle, you’re missing out. For too long, I associated the store with my high school preppy days, but that’s a serious misstep. Not only are their options reasonably priced, but they also hold up well. I have sweaters I bought three years ago that still look great, which can be difficult to find at a low price point. Best of all, items like this waffle knit sweater regularly go on sale. I wear an XL for a comfortable, oversized fit. SHOP HERE.
ABLE
(pictured: Marin Sweater)
This sweater was a gift from my friend Jess Kirby’s collection with ABLE, and I fell in love with the brand after! They focus on sustainability and ethically made clothing and offer sizes up to 3X. I’ve found many slow fashion brands that don’t make clothes that fit me, so this was a welcome change. I’m also a fan of their dresses if you’re looking for different styles. SHOP HERE.
Summersalt
(pictured: The Coziest Cashmere Blend Ribbed Half-Button Sweater)
They’re widely known for their swimwear, but I’m also obsessed with Summersalt’s loungewear. The cashmere blend feels so lovely when wearing it, and they carry sizes up to 2X. I love that you can buy a matching set to wear around the house or dress a sweater up for an elevated look. SHOP HERE.
Lilly Pulitzer
(pictured: Ramona Fringe Sweater)
I tend to gravitate toward Lilly Pulitzer’s colorful prints. Still, I love buying their sweaters, too — I’m a big enough fan that I’ve gifted them to other people. The size range is narrower than other brands I’ve mentioned, and most are only available up to XL. Still, some styles run generously, so I’d give them a try if you’re in between straight and plus sizes. SHOP HERE.
Draper James
(pictured: Kelsea Sweatshirt in Awning Stripe)
I used to avoid stripes because I was worried about clothing not looking flattering on me, but I’m learning to embrace my body and wear whatever I want. I don’t have this exact sweater, but I own a very similar, now sold-out one from Draper James, and I can’t say enough good things about the fit and quality. SHOP HERE.

Lulus
(pictured: Feeling Great Rust Brown Striped Bell Sleeve Sweater)
I love shopping at Lulus for sweaters because it’s an easy way to try different trends — I mean, who can resist a bell sleeve sweater? In my experience, their sweater sizing runs pretty big — I’d recommend reading reviews but going down a size for anything that looks like it’s supposed to be oversized. SHOP HERE.
I’ll continue to update this list of stores with women’s fall sweaters roundup throughout the season, but until then, happy shopping!
